• FAQs

  • How do I know which side the sensors should be on?

The automatic people counter is available in three different specifications: with sensors on the right, on the left or both sides.

To ensure that your EntryGuard is placed on the correct side, you should place it on the opposite side to which visitors walk past upon entry to your venue. For example, if you place the column on the right side near a doorway, the sensors should be on the left. If you have a two-way entry and exit out of the same door, then we recommend you use an EntryGuard with sensors on both sides.

  • What do I do if I have multiple entries to my venue?

Right now, EntryGuard works as a single device. We are fast developing new software to link the traffic light pillars together. For example, Manchester Piccadilly has an entrance out to the main street AND by the bus station. As a result, we’re currently advising all businesses to try and maintain one single entrance to their venue as much as possible.
